App for Google Docs App Reviews

Nothing more than a browser window to see Google Docs website! Not faster and easier than Safari or other browser. Stay away!

The reason I tried this app was to be able to not use Microsoft Word, but when I tried to open up a document using the app, it told me it does not support that function. Yet I do not see anywhere that this is not possible. I do like the idea of it, and yes I can use it to create new docs, but the whole reason I bought it was so that I don’t have to be online all the time. I now have to open up my browser and bring a Word doc into Google Docs online, then go back to the app? Doesn’t make any sense to me… Fix this issue and I’ll be happy to use it, but right now it is pointless for me.

Tried so many different things to get this app to work, no luck.. Please install an update soon.

I am waiting for list of my documents, and only that I can do: wait. Nothing other happens. I wrote about this problem to the author but nobody answered.

Not working without internet connection, crashing all the time, you cannot open google docs files with this app…. terrible app.

I can’t print my docs, I can’t export them. What did I bought?

I downloaded this app in hopes of using it to open powerpoints from my good docs but the app keeps freezing and if you click off of it it simply vanishes. You must then quite the app and reopen and go back to where you were. I would not recommend this app to anybody. This is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not worth 2.99 Would like refund. Looks nice in "dock" mode, though. Wish it was 99c. Would take refund if possible. Not bad, though. can edit, but just acts like a browser.

This isn’t very useful for what I need at work. I do mobile game design and it requires having multiple tabs open for spreadsheets. Unfortunately you can only have one Google Doc open at a time. Also as a cosmetic suggestion, the app border color should change depending on the Google App you are using automatically. The app border changes to green when you are in a spreadsheet, changes to blue in a writing doc, etc.

Absolutely useless. Bogus claims. Will not generate spreadsheets. Would like money back.

This app does nothing useful. It doesn’t work offline (like docs in chrome). It can’t open google doc files from finder (synced via google drive). All it does is provide a wrapper around safari, something you could do yourself with fluid.

I was looking forward to this hopefully being useful. It’s literally just Google Docs from Safari wrapped in a Mac App and the window disappears intermittently forcing you to have to restart the app. Totally not worth it.

I simply failed to research the app well enough before I bought it. I bought it for easy use OFFLINE. With which it has no ability to work. Whereas the Chrome version works offline. Doesn’t make sense to me that this wouldn’t work offline also. Total waste of money. Would appreciate a refund.

This app is a waste of money. I thought I could use offline mode like in chrome. This app is only google docs in a new type of window. I would like to request a refund if possible.

I purchaed and downloaded this software because I was send two files that are .gdoc files and could not open them. Now that i have the new app, I still cannot open the files. What a rip! It only cost $3 but that is now $3 I do not have to put other things and they are getting the $3 for crap. It would be nice if there was some sort of explanation about how this application is supposed to work as there are no menu items that even allow me to TRY to intuitively accomplish what I want.

I bought this despite the reviews because I thought that the reviewers were not too familiar with Google Docs and were not aware of how Google Docs functions, and thought their reviews were unrelated to what the App would do. Well, I am very familiar with Google Docs and should have known better that this app was not really necessary, although I will never know since it NEVER OPENED. I could nerve sign in or even use it. The Mac I have has an OS X El Capitan version 10.11.2.

I would like my money refunded. Does not open!!

Not sure why this app is 2.99. I purchased it for offline use of google docs, which it does not provide. All you have purchased is a wrapper for safari to open and display your login for google. Would like a refund if possible, so I can spend my money on worthwhile apps that help productivity. No reason this app should not be free.
